When placing an order and/or registering with Fortune Electronic, we are required to obtain pertinent information regarding yourself and your delivery destination on the Paypal system. These details include your name, home address, email address and phone number - we will also require the delivery address for your parcel, should it differ to your home address.

Data Use Statistical information regarding sales or page visits obtained through customer sessions may be used internally for marketing purposes, or at our discretion forwarded to reputable third parties. This information is collated from the amassed data available on our databases and contains no personal information relating to our customers.

Credit card details for orders placed online may be stored on our transaction provider’s (Paypal) web server and they have safe guards to protect this information. Please visit the Paypal site for more information about their system.

Throughout this site, Fortune Electronic and it's affiliates is the service provider; also referred to as "FE", "Fortune Electronic", "Fronta", "us" and "we". The use of the word "Customer" is the person or organisation who purchases or seeks services from Fortune Electronic; also referred to as "you".

The use of this site or purchase from Fortune Electronic and it's affiliates indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Fortune Electronic reserves the right to make changes to this web site and these terms and conditions at any time without any prior notice.

Online Orders

  • All orders placed are subject to confirmation and acceptance by Fortune Electronic.
  • Fortune Electronic may vary prices for received orders in the event of price changes or mistakes made by suppliers. In the case of price increase, you may cancel the order by giving notice to Fortune Electronic, which must be received within seven days of the price increase notification.
  • Quantity in stock displayed on our web site should be considered as a guide only. Quantity in stock does not take into account the orders already placed which are yet to be processed. It is possible that an order placed earlier will receive the allocation of the part in which the quantity for it showed as in stock at the time of your order. Inventory discrepancy can also affect the accuracy of the stock status displayed on our web site.
  • We are operating a Web only mail order business. All prices listed on the web site are for internet mail orders only.
  • Any attempt to cancel an order must be made as soon as possible. Cancellations attempted after the dispatching will result in the customer having to pay the shipping and handling charges on the package and the cost of shipping the package back.
  • Cancellations may be communicated by telephone, email or Fax. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays by E-mail or Fax only.

Payment

  • The title of the goods supplied does not pass to the customer from Fortune Electronic until the full amount is paid to Fortune Electronic.
  • Accepted payment methods include Visa and Mastercard credit cards and are processed using the secure Paypal system. Paypal members can use their Paypal accounts to make payment instead.
  • Shipment of goods is subject to fund clearance by Fortune Electronic.

Shipment

  • Customers are responsible for paying any freight charges incurred by refused shipment and unclaimed goods. Fortune Electronic will make every effort to deliver on time. However, we shall not be held liable for delay or lost shipment.
  • Customers are responsible to have someone at the delivery address to sign for (if required) and accept the delivery. Cost for re-delivery attempts will be passed to the customers if the delivery address is unattended at the time of delivery. When your order is shipped you will be sent an E-mail confirmation.
  • You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by you. Customs policies vary from country to country and you should contact your local customs office for further information.
  • The customer is considered the importer of the goods and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods. To avoid any unnecessary customs charges, please check with your local customs office to find out what the exemption limit is for goods entering the country before having to pay taxes.

Warranty

  • All goods sold by Fortune Electronic, excluding batteries, come with a 6 month warranty, unless otherwise stated.
  • Goods under warranty cover will be replaced or repaired by the manufacturers.
  • Warranty only covers the item(s) sold by Fortune Electronic. Warranty does not cover any other equipment used in conjunction with the item(s) sold by Fortune Electronic.
  • Dead on arrival (DOA) items are eligible for refund or an instant replacement from our stock. DOA items must be reported within 7 days from the time you receive your goods. Failure to report a DOA item within 7 days will result in you not being able to claim the item as a DOA. Please contact us and prior to returning anything. Please understand we need to receive the goods in a timely fashion for us to return to the suppliers.
  • A large percentage of returned goods are found to be, not faulty. If the returned goods are determined by Fortune Electronic not to be faulty, then all returning shipping fees will be worn by the customer. We will seek the permission from the customer to charge this cost to the customer's credit card where possible. Failing this, the goods will be sent back by Australia Post COD freight collected. Fortune Electronic also reserves the right to charge the labour cost for examining these goods where no fault was found.
  • All warrantees are voided if returned product is found in any way to be mishandled, mis-installed, modified, tampered, abused, physically damaged or used under wrong polarity or voltage etc.
  • Please attach a copy of the original invoice or provide the original invoice number. A detailed fault description sheet must be sent together with all the returning warranty goods.
  • The customer is responsible for proper packaging of product returns. All warranties will be void on items that are insufficiently or inaccurately packaged. Customer is responsible for all the shipping charges associated with returning the defective merchandise. If any item(s) returned for warranty claim is determined to be physically damaged, the item(s) will be returned to the customer as is.
  • The customer is responsible for any shipping and insurance cost involved in sending the warranty claim goods back to Fortune Electronic. We are not responsible for any parcel missing in transit, on its return back to us.
  • Product(s) discontinued by manufacturer(s) shall be upgraded to a similar product or a credit will be given at the current market value or the purchase price whichever is lower.

  • Insert batteries with correct polarity and tighten the torch head fully.
  • Apply silicon lubricant to enhance the seals prior to carrying out deep dive.
  • Rinse the torch with fresh water after saltwater diving activities because the clearance of the moving parts in the switch are very small and the salt formation after drying will obstruct this clearance and result sticking.
  • Use WD40 to lubricate the external switch periodically to clear any marine growth that may grow and obstruct the small clearance too.
  • We have used a chrome plated magnet and a stainless steel spring within the switch but they can also rust after a certain amount of use in sea water. WD40 maintenance will prevent this.
  • For traveling, remove the batteries from the torch’s chamber prior to storage in luggage because x-ray checks will cause the switch to turn on automatically.
  • When the batteries are exhausted, remove them from the torch to prevent acid leaks.

Returns and Refunds

  • There will be no credit given on order price difference, due to price drops. Please select carefully at the time when you place your order.
  • Returns for refund will only be accepted within 7 days of you receiving the goods. A restocking fee of 15% of the purchase price will be deducted. Returned goods must be in its original condition and include all the original packaging. Shipping and handling costs are not refundable. This return for refund policy is applicable for change of mind, and lack of expertise for installation etc. Please contact us prior to returning anything. Please understand we need to receive the goods in a timely fashion for us to return to the suppliers or to resell.
  • Any incorrect, missing or damaged items received must be reported to Fortune Electronic within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery. This can only be done by E-mail, Fax or Phone.
  • If the item(s) received is not what was ordered please do not open the sealed package in which it was sent. Any attempt to use the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer of the item(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered and no further claim can be raised thereafter.
  • Fortune Electronic owns the title of any extra goods shipped with your order that have been dispatched in error.
